Red Rock Canyon Proper

Notice the horizontal red lines just below the centre of the photo? That is Red Rock Canyon proper. You couldn’t possibly tell from this photo taken from several miles away that there is a huge gouge that drops waaay down which forms the actual Red Rock Canyon. Maybe I shouldn’t but I do refer to a large area around the canyon proper as being Red Rock Canyon. In any case, if you are in Las Vegas you’ll not be disappointed by visiting this place. There’s so much more to see and do in our city than the Casinos!

Please click the photo, it looks better bigger. 😬

A Note From Abroad

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sailaway from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ~ Mark Twain
