Soaking Up The Sun

On the way down to my truck yesterday from walking Calico basin, this very happy Joshua tree demanded a photograph from me! I used the wide-angle Sigma for this photo as I did for the rest of the photos in this set. We have a near record high temperature coming today so says the weather channel. Almost eighty! But then cooling to the sixties thereafter. I hope the weather is as pleasant where you are. Do you have plans for the weekend? I’ll be here in town but am wanting to take a day trip soon. I left the photos a bit dark.

A Note From Abroad

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sailaway from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ~ Mark Twain
