Rough Textures

Here are fifteen photos from a few days ago in Calico Basin again, tired of my pretty rocks yet? The textures and crazy colors are amazing to see in person. No photo can truly express the actual sizes and depths of the colors here. If you visit Las Vegas, get outta town and come see this place. There’s so much more to Las Vegas!

  1. How could anyone tire of those beautiful rocks, John?

    • Many folks here choose the license plate that has a different background and two large letters which designate something specific. The letters MT indicate Mount Charleston. And so on. There are plates for the Rodeo, for Children, Las Vegas of course and so on. Me? No way do I ever tire of being in my canyons not far away.

A Note From Abroad

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sailaway from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ~ Mark Twain
