Water Filtration

Good morning from Las Vegas! Water is a precious resource of course and the water here in Las Vegas is stinky. Why? Flip the water on and inhale. Chlorine! Yes, our water stinks badly of chlorine. It reminds me of living in Florida during the 1990’s where the water was heavily chlorinated. All because of those tiny little bugs! Bugs that make you sick.

I’ve been purchasing my water from the Smith’s grocer up the road for a long time now as it’s not very costly and is very portable in those little plastic bottles. But the TV commercial got me. The one for the PUR brand, pronounced as Pure. I hooked the device up as directed using the adapter kit supplied and did the five minute flush to activate the filtre.

Hey, it tastes great and with no odor either! I also purchased a plastic pitcher to keep the water in -vs- those bottles. We shall see but it’s amazing how well this little filtration system actually works! And how often do we purchase products these days  that make grandiose claims but fail miserably? Not this time.
