Buckhorn Cholla

Buckhorn Cholla is common around Las Vegas and well south into the Sonoran Desert as well. This plant produces flowers in early summer, prefers dry sandy soil and prefers altitudes to around five thousand feet of elevation. Buckhorn Cholla grows in Southern California, southern Nevada and in Arizona. One of our better looking desert plants in my opinion! Happy Sunday friends!
