Well, the wind finally fell below the threshold that allowed me to lift off earlier today, it was great fun to be back flying again! The first thing I wanted to do is shoot up to four hundred foot for the best view possible from this new location.

The new location is at the Late Night Trail which is several miles west and south of Las Vegas along SR 160 which is an east-west road that passes through the south side of Las Vegas, then over the Pass and on to the little city of Pahrump, Nevada.

I stopped at the maximum altitude and started snapping photos and video which I’ll post later today. I no longer host video with WordPress, I now use Vimeo which works great, isn’t costly for a one year subscription and saves a ton of space on my site.

I hope you like my drone photos of the Mojave Desert!

  1. Wave John. Oh, that’s right you need two hands to keep fly. Better to have pictures that a crashed vehicle.
