    • Thank you Lisa! And thanks for telling me what they are too. I should really look the species up aye? At this particular picnic place, the little ground squirrels and birds are flying past me super close, and one squirrel actually sniffed my shoe! Love it! 😬❤️💕😌


  2. The top sparrow looks like a juvenile male – just about getting a bib on his chest. 🙂 Are they still regarded as a pest species in the USA? Here, in the UK, they’re endangered.

    I like the traffic sign.. and your shots of the views…

    • I have no idea if they are referred to as pests but there are plenty of them around. I have some photos from yesterday on the mountain from about 8000 feet going up on the blog later today possibly. I always take too many photos when on my little day trips.
