Mountain Communications

As you can imagine, a solid cell signal can be difficult to find in the mountains, add to that the fact that the mountains will attenuate that weak signal with ease. This array (not all antennas shown) is just below 8000 feet in Kyle Canyon near Mount Charleston and Cathedral Rock. Being a Ham Radio licensee, this stuff interests me! Being out of radio range can be a good thing, it’s good to take a break from Social Media and other stuff.
