The Lee Canyon Ski Area

The Lee Canyon Ski Area is on Public land and is granted authority to use the area for skiing by a branch of the federal government. The area is open Friday, Saturday and  Sunday during the summer months and offers activities for everyone including the little ones. Obviously, the place was closed when I took these photos. I attended a function here last summer which was fun regardless of going it alone.

There was live music, tons of good food and of course alcohol. Dogs are not allowed in the area during winter but there were dozens of four legged partygoers attending that day. I wanted to ride the chairlift up and back and waited in line, only to be told you need to purchase a ticket. Duh! Laughing at one’s self is a good thing!

A Note From Abroad

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sailaway from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ~ Mark Twain
