How Dry is Lake Mead?

Have a look below. The ledge I shot some of these photos on should actually be several feet underwater, Lake Mead is around eighty feet below (I think?) it’s full level with no end in sight of the drought here in the American Southwest. Sucks! Lake Mead has not been full since the early 1980’s. As an avid boater currently in permanent dry dock, it really pains me to see this massive reservoir, the largest in the United States, so terribly low. In spite of this, when you stand on it’s shore as I did today, you realise how damn huge this lake still is! I hope the many shuttered businesses here will reopen one day, and the extended boat ramps be drowned.
