The Lone Donkey

I’ve been stopping by Bonnie Springs Ranch more lately, hoping to find the pack of wild donkeys. They seem to be around that area more often. Today I finally found just one lone donkey standing under a Joshua Tree for shade. I just love these wild donkeys, they are sooo cute! I wanted to move closer but held back, you need to remember that these are wild animals and as such, they certainly are going to be unpredictable. Feeding them earns you a $500.00 fine too IF you are caught! I really thought the 70-300mm lens would get me closer to this cute donkey. More zoom lens costs too much for my wallet!
