Smoke Fog

I call it Smoke Fog, a quick search on Google didn’t turn up much on this subject but the canyons west of Las Vegas are very hazy today as you can see in the photos. The same photos that are normally crystal clear out here. I can’t be totally certain, but I believe this smoke is coming from the Carr Fire near Redding, California. There are other fires around too unfortunately. The air quality around Las Vegas must be pretty shitty today, funny thing though is that I never smelt one bit of smoke… Hmmmm…

  1. John, you may want to try the free app BreexoMeter to determine the air quality in your air. I’ve used it since the October fires in Sonoma and Napa Counties.

A Note From Abroad

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sailaway from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ~ Mark Twain
