The Black Bear Diner

The Black Bear Diner is located at Durango Drive and Sahara Avenue, I have drove by this place many times, I decided to have a Club Sandwich there late this morning and I was not disappointed! The place was nutty busy but it’s a Sunday morning. The service was great with smiling employees, a super fast kitchen and my sandwich was delicious.

I’ll be back! There is also a jukebox playing too when you first walk in which can be heard around the restaurant. I sat at the bar up front across from the kitchen which is what I prefer. The bar stools are made from Pine and beautifully crafted as are the pine pilings which are part of the structure. Then, we have those cute carved wooden bears out front that are a great way to grab customers attention. if you are in the area and want something good to eat, I recommend this diner!

  1. Seems like an inviting mom and pop joint. Prefer these over any hamburger chains.

A Note From Abroad

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sailaway from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ~ Mark Twain
