Dust Storm

Last night we had a quick dust storm blow through Las Vegas Valley. It didn’t last long but holy crap was that wind strong! I need to take my electric leaf blower out to my vehicle to blow it off. My patio and front door were littered with debris and pine needles too. It was tough to keep my eyes open outside as the dust was so damn thick that it blotted out the distant mountains, and darkened street lights on the boulevard as well. I’m glad I avoid driving after dark like the plague!

A Note From Abroad

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sailaway from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ~ Mark Twain
