The Southwest Drought

Where are the rains? Where is the snow melt from the Rocky Mountains? Lake Mead is very low, meanwhile the East Coast has been drowned all summer long. Now we have hurricane Florence coming ashore and more rain on the way for Texas. It sure seems to me like the frequency of hurricanes and storms has increased.
