Beach Bikes of California

I took these photos the winter of 2017 at the Red Rock Canyon Scenic Overlook. There were two dudes from California that had these bikes on a trunk rack. They popped them off and began riding around. I was intrigued, and asked them a few questions. Being from Michigan, these bicycles were never seen way up there.

They are custom built, I validated this by searching for California Beach Bikes.

I found zero bikes that looked even remotely like this! They are so badass looking aren’t they? It was so bloody windy that day that when I was squat way down for the shots, the wind literally blew me ass over tea kettle, flinging my glasses off and sending my Nikon in a different direction. That was embarrassing!

  1. I have to say.. that second bike looks very uncomfortable to ride 😀 😀 😀 Beautiful images love the low cloud… gives the image a great atmospheric feel.
