  1. It’s a water heater. It bugs me when people call it a “hot” water heater because it’s untrue, as you stated. This would be the equivalent of calling a coffeemaker a “hot” coffee maker or an oven a “hot” food heater. It’s a duplicate.


  2. ….it’s like an old joke we’d use in radio: “From the department of redundancy department”.
