The Ivanpah Solar Plant

I took this photo sometime in 2017 down at Primm, Nevada right on the Nevada California border. I was parked on a small hill above Primm which allowed me to see one of the Boiler Towers at the Ivanpah Solar Plant located in California.

I really dislike all of this solar power nonsense when It comes to trying to generate enough electricity to keep up with or exceed that which is generated by our tried and true sources.

I don’t like the subsidising of the industry. Time to stop the nonsense and use solar power in much more realistic scenarios such as a cabin in the woods, or a personal home system. Read more about Ivanpah.
