iPad Telly

This was a couple days ago, watching the tube via my iPad and the Cox Contour application. It works just fine as long as you have access to a really good cell tower signal. Otherwise, it buffer’s too much. That sucks. The new package I signed up for with Cox of course, has as promised, a much faster internet connection. I came to Las Vegas from the sticks, corn fields and soy bean fields where I had dialup for my internet. What a joke! Today, my link is far superior at 31mb upload speed, and a whopping 325mb download speed. I love it!

  1. I’ve got fond memories of my 16k modem 😂

  2. Haha. My first experience of the web, was bulletin type boards that you dialed into. That will have been around 1988. I gave up on them. Then AOL came along. I gave up on them too, as it wasn’t really the Internet, but their own closed version of it. I found it very difficult to use, plus it took 30 minutes to see a pair of boobs appear on screen 😂

I left it a few year and tried the Internet again. I haven’t looked back since.
