My Adopted Home

The mountains and beauty in the photos you see below played a big part among others in my decision to remain in Nevada. There’s no way I could have ever known that I would one day land in this wonderful city, having grown up in Michigan and living there nearly continuously for fifty three years among the wood, the corn fields and soy bean fields. Culture shock. As some of you know it is my birthday today so I’ve been a bit more reflective on my life thus far.

We all make some big mistakes along the path of our lives. I am certainly NO exception, but life has improved several fold since my divorce three years ago. There’s too much to write about on that subject but I hope you get my idea. Life is good, life is wonderful today. I wouldn’t be here and doing so well without my faith in Jesus Christ. Today is my birthday, but a far more important birthday arrives very soon. Happy Birthday, Lord of Lords! ✝️
