Bobby Darin’s Dream Car

My friend in Michigan sent me these photos yesterday and I have to say I was not impressed by the styling of this car body. It’s just so fugly but I suppose it was a big deal then. You can read more about this car here.

  1. Neat photos, and the link to the article is worth a look. Interesting that Di Dia is still living, at least at the time of the article. This car has those then popular “fins” on steroids!

    • I’m glad you like the car! I don’t understand the thought process for the design. The hood appears to be not fully closed, the headlamps remind me of the lighting on the leading edge of an aircraft wing and those fins are just waaaay too big. Sorry, don’t mean to be negative but… It’s interesting how different people see cars in such varied ways.
