Well… Before the Nevada State Police and others cracked down on this, people were using a portion of the canyon for target practice. Not legally, not with state permission hence it all ended quickly. Thank you, NSP! I know of two outdoor shooting ranges in the valley, one is public, the other Members Only. There is zero reason for these people to be outlaws! They also haul garbage out there (as they do in Michigan) to shoot at. Water heater tanks, furniture, old safes… the list goes on. 😡
