Is that a HDR setting on the phone John?
Yes, it’s shooting in HDR via an app called Pro Camera. Has many more options than the stock camera app. It’s cranked a bit too high… Maybe!
I tried to work with HDR a couple year ago. It’s difficult to get it bang on, but when you hit the mark, the photos can look pretty amazing. I don’t think you are too far away with those 👍

It seems to make great photos. I’m looking at up grading an XR from a 6.

I’ll have to get into the habit of using my phone. We’ll see if I move to the new model. I tend to not be big on updating equipment.
