Good Sunday morning! It’s incredibly sunny in the valley this morning, so I grabbed another set of Navajo Art photos in the back yard. The dark lines are from the artist implanting horse hair into the piece when it’s being created, later the horse hair is removed. I’ve never heard of this, I love the result it produces on the piece. I am sooo thankful for the return of the sunshine! John is grumpy when he doesn’t get his vitamin D!
The Navajo tortoise is really beautiful, John. And the horse hair technique is super cool.
