Driving through Calico Basin today I was surprised at the number of folk out there on a Monday, it’s usually less busy during the week, especially during our scorching hot summer months. Since we are still in the colder months, folks come out to take advantage of the cooler weather before the furnace returns. Only the very healthy and brave dare these activities in summer. Would you hike, rock climb or cycle in 115 degrees?
