Ready To Fall

This teetering boulder sits atop a ridge directly next to the parking lot and board walk in Calico Basin near Red Rock Canyon proper. Each time I drive through the area, I have a look up there. If that boulder were to be jolted enough to fall it would come down on or near a picnic area, public bathrooms and lots of hikers coming and going from that parking lot. Apparently our wind storms such as the one happening at this moment are not enough to topple it. I good tremor may bring it down though I suppose.

Scary shit! Don’t get The Crunch!
