I am curesed with considerable trivia knowledge! Besides, I was the Vice President of Nebraska Ornithologists’ Union in the late 1980s and am a life member. I’ve never seen an acoprn woodpecker, but woodpeckers are among of my favorites.

Looks like a woodpecker to me…as a novice. But, as an admirer of your photography – it was an excellent choice to run it in B&W too. All the textures look great in both color and B&W!
