I’ve said this many times, I’ll never tire of my adopted home in the Mojave Desert! The horizontal stones in two photos are the naturally created edges of a Wash that you can’t see the bottom of in the images.

Watch out for rattlers. We always walked the desert with a big stick to prod the path ahead. My little niece was so cute as she’d holler, “Watch out snakes!”
Good advice – the area I was in wasn’t very thick, lots of open area to spot them. Scary…
