Being a licensed Ham Radio licensee since the 1990’s I am always curious about the specific usage of any kind of antenna and it’s system. There are quite a few of this specific parabolic antenna on homes here so I assume they are for an internet service other than Cox Communications or Century Link. Other than dollars and cents, there is no sense in using systems such as this for your home internet service. I am familiar with similar systems in Michigan and they were never all that good, rather sluggish performance.

I was enjoying the beautiful eve with a cold one and a warm breeze when this pigeon lit atop the antenna. I grabbed the ever present Nikon with zoom lens and waited. Finally Mr. Pigeon lifted off for his next stop.
