These antennas work just fine for terrestrial digital broadcast TV as well, since the new digital allocations are just a subset of the older analog spectrum. I have an old “analog” antenna that was put on my roof probably back in the 1980s when my house was built. The cheap coax had rotted over the years, but once I had it replaced, the antenna does a fine job of pulling in several dozen digital channels here in Phoenix.
I didn’t know this Curt. I see the new antennas built specifically for the digital format and frequencies. The old antennas do make great scanner antennas when flipped to vertical!
