Walking through my garage this afternoon taking groceries into the kitchen I spied something sticking out of one of two sticky traps either side of the entrance on the concrete. Oh look! Another one! One trap already had a nearly-dead scorpion in it. The newer catch was caught only by it’s nasty tail.
I picked up both traps and took them to the kitchen table to photograph with the Tamron 60mm. Turns out, they were both still alive, one a bit more than the other. I got the photos then took the nasty little bastards to my garage workbench and gave them the crunch with a flat head screwdriver. Adios!
Update: I am reminded by a person I follow that I neglected to point out that the home is indeed sprayed for basically everything roughly every 45 days. Duh. Welcome to the desert life. 😎🙏🏻🌵🔥🌞
I remember living in the Far East. Always wise to empty your shoes in the morning before putting them on!!!
I’ve done that too Richard. I’ve had an outbreak of them in and around my house. Little bastards!
Ugh. Didn’t you have Pest Control out?
Damn, good point! I need to update the article, thanks for pointing this out. Duh. The place is sprayed inside and out every 45 days or so. I see ZERO bugs inside… Yeah!
