I like Pahrump and have a friend that lives there. I considered it but the closest hospital is Las Vegas and that is a major factor in staying here.
Yes it is, you’ve mentioned your medical issue, a wise decision. I don’t mean to bang on Pahrump, the city does have some delicious restaurants and beautiful views. It’s interesting to me to see the back side of the Red Rock Escarpment. And Mount Charleston too. I like to drive Lovell Canyon Road too that you pass on the way to Pahrump when coming down from Mountain Springs Pass. 😎
Is that Southern California haze I see in your photos of the valley?
That’s Pahrump Valley, the photo has one or two overlays. I’m on an over-processing thing lately. Las Vegas Valley has a lovely glow of smog hovering above when seen from the right elevation. Yum.
