Thanks Kelly! The car was actually sold when I was there, has since been delivered to it’s new garage.
We thought the Carb was the cause for the poor performance and spitting/missing sound.
Dad told me he would let me know. It was the Magneto! Sounded much more like an engine starving for fuel to me.
