Got to be on a Packard, right? Know the year?
Hi guys! Indeed it is a Packard body, however, the car is basically completely modern under the hood. The engine is now a 502 cubic inch V8 with a modern transmission, AC, braking system, suspension and more. Much more. My father bought it from a guy in California some years ago. It’s always an eye catcher! And lots of fun to ride in too. Not sure what year it’s supposed to be.
Interesting. (My uncle and my dad owned a 1939 Packard 12 touring sedan when I was a little guy. When you sat in the back seat it seemed like the hood ornament was a mile away.)
Oh yeah, I totally get that! No short wheelbases with these babies!
