Weed, or Marijuana for the purists, has been legal in Nevada for about two years now I think and guess what? The city is still standing! Nothing seems to have changed here. The flip side of this is that I personally am happy that the Nevada State Police and our Las Vegas Metropolitan Police both count smoking and driving as a DUI. That’s exactly how it should be.

How would yours truly know this? Life Experience. I’ve smoked on and off since the late 1970’s and am not ashamed of this fact! I voted for legalisation and am glad we got this passed. It’s long past the time to dismiss the hypocrisy of booze being legal and a simple plant not. Honestly, I and many others I speak with about this believe that weed is far less dangerous than booze.
