Dead Phone

Someone smashed the handset of this old phone to bits. Now, someone has wrapped it in plastic. What the hell? I pass by this phone frequently and have watched it’s slow demise for some time now. I’m so glad I’m not an “old fashioned” phone! I suppose generations have grown up without ever using something like this, but they are still in people’s homes of course. When was the last time you had an actual corded phone in your home? Me? It’s been years! There’s not much need for them these days.

  1. When I see things like this, I feel for the people who build the things that get so readily vandalised and so easily. I always think it comes down to two types of people – builders and destroyers. I can’t help thinking we have too many of the latter end not enough of the former. Or maybe I’m just old and grumpy!

    • Your not old or grumpy Richard. You see this shit in this world for what it really is. I agree, too many of the latter in the world today. The parents never taught these idiots respect for others and their property.

  2. I have a purple one for memory purposes, not for use.
