The old Boardwalk at Red Spring in Calico Basin was in really crappy shape. I walked it a few times, some of the boards were cracked, nails coming up from the wood and so on. The new and much better boardwalk will open finally in August. Actual metal railing instead of splintered wood, the crappy floor boards are replaced with composite wood which should withstand the harsh sun longer. I’ll take a walk on it in August, maybe make a video too as well as the actual spring up there as well.
