I hope this plant isn’t too far gone at this point to save it. It sat on the east side of the yard for a couple weeks or so and was slowly going down. Last night I moved it to the west side next to the other plant, so far so good. It was also pruned, removing the dead shit. It’s easy to see which is which isn’t it? I should apologise to the plant!
Maybe. They do say you should talk to plants
Not sure if my mother ever did that, she had the greenest thumb ever!
Good luck on your Indian Blanket flowers, they may pull through. They love full all-day sun and don’t like a lot of water. They should be thriving in your heat!
Thanks so much for identifying them Donna! I have been giving them too much water. I’ll add water every other day now. Ooops! It’s been damn hot but the fall cooling trend is almost here with 90’s later this week and forward. Nice!
Water every few days or so at most. They are drought lovers!
Well then cripes! They are in the right place, the water level of Lake Mead a fact. Obviously this is a learning curve for a single guy with no green thumb… šš¤
