The Water Tanker

These huge water tanks are usually hanging out around construction sites as is this one. It’s road capable and is lifted high up with a crane so the water will gravity feed into the smaller tanker trucks that drive around the work sites spreading the water where needed to control the construction dust. Dust Control is taken very seriously around here as we are in the Mojave Desert, right? I’m sure that fines are issued to companies that fail to control their own construction dust. This tank is just off a cement making plant’s property in the northwest corner of the valley near the 215 freeway.
