Sole Survivor

Once there were two large pots with these wonderful Indian Blanket flowers, one plant has been pulled up from the pot and placed in File 13 now. The other one seen here is still rocking along in spite of the nasty, very windy cold front that blasted it’s way through Las Vegas Valley the last couple days. I’ve been cleaning up the backyard this morning, that gosh damn wind really sucks! The funny thing about this little plant though is that it was the runt of the two plants I purchased at the local nursery. Apparently, this plant had a better game plan for survival than it’s much larger counterpart.
