As someone with degrees in geology, I have many many times asked this question while observing outcroppings. Very good capture of the strata in this formation.
Wow that’s impressive! I’m just an observer but have been fascinated by geology for many years, it’s the story of Earth’s history revealing some of it’s secrets from many millions of years ago!!
