Snow Above 6000 Feet

The other day when the rain was coming down in 55 gallon drums causing flash flood events in the valley, the weather service said there would be snow above 6000 feet and they were right. The bit of snow atop Gass Peak that you see is just under 7000 feet which shows that the weather folks can actually get it right sometimes. I hope heavy rain like that stays away the rest of this winter…
