Today I visited Floyd Lamb State Park as I’ve never been there in my six years in Las Vegas. I can say for sure that this park is a haven for many kinds of birds! I took mostly bird photos today as the park itself doesn’t offer much else to photograph in my humble opinion.
There were plenty of people there regardless of the stiff breeze mid fifties temperature. The trees had lost many of their leaves, and our recent wind storm had apparently pulled tons of small branches down. So, you’ll see plenty of bird photos on the blog for a couple days or so I guess, hang out won’t you?
Nice bird photos! That second one is posing – such vivid coloring!
Thanks so much, I thought the deeper colors were better too. 😍
You’re welcome!
Nice portrait of the goose.
Thanks! I just love that face and inquisitive eyeball! I’ve got some fun photos coming of geese preening and flapping those beautiful wings while preening. 😬
