I snapped this photo at least two years ago while living in that yucky apartment. Since then I’ve come to realise that feeding bread to wild birds and other wild critters can be both toxic and deadly. Man… I wish I’d have known this before! I love birds, all birds and admire their beauty and freedom of the skies but never wanted to injure them! You can learn more about how and why birds should never eat bread right here.
You should come visit Scotland John. All sorts of different birds and, of course, because we live 5 mins from the beach, a great many sea birds…

You are welcome! We seem to have grown up doing this and never knew what it could do and not do for wild birds.
