Three snaps from yesterday, the Strip looking clear. Today is windy and much cooler, where is summer?

Plenty of wind over here in Scotland going spare at the moment. Blowing up to Force 10 and 11 (one off a hurricane). A good time for ships to be in the harbour for sure!

Thanks Sandra! Another windstorm in progress today, this always makes a mess. So much debris everywhere! Example: A blue exam glove was stuck in the rocks out front my house today, yuck! π

Yuck! Well, letβs hope it passes soon.

Usually gone by morning, the last one not long ago lasted about 2.5 days! It’s those powerful low pressure systems that come down from the Gulf of Alaska. The worst seems to go east, we get rain and wind, or just the wind.

Itβs cold and windy out this way today too John. The wind is my least favorite element. Always blows debris in my eyes/contacts. π

Dear John,
you ask where the summer is gone and we hope desperately for snow. We miss snow and ice very much.
Your pictures radiate for us hot weather and typical USamerican aesthetics.
Thanks for sharing and wishing you a great week to come

Thank you, the same to you all! I grew up in ice and snow but have been in the desert for almost seven years now. Cold weather doesn’t suit me these days! π΄
