A Man-Made Waterfall and Pond

Here are three shots from yesterday showing the waterfall and some nice landscaping in Downtown Summerlin. The water is actually as clear as it looks, there is never a speck of algae in there but there are no fish either. It’s not very deep but I’ll bet ya twenty bucks several kiddies have been in that water one way or another over the years!

  1. This looks beautiful! Are those rocks under water in the last pic? Itโ€™s so crisp and clear itโ€™s hard to tell! Nice, John!

    • Hi Sandra! Yes, those are pretty rocks under the surface roughly two foot or so down. It was very calm yesterday, hence the glassy look of the water. This camera has upped my photography game. It’s sunny and 76 here today, yaaaasss!!! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐ŸŒด๐Ÿ˜Ž

      • Sounds perfect John! We are dipping back down into the 60s with rain expected tomorrow. Bye bye blossoms. ๐Ÿ˜”but we really need rain. Youโ€™re rockin that camera! Nice work!

    • Thanks guys! The water sounds really nice, calming. Trust me, I’ve been there in the dead of summer and man does that water look deliciously cold! I’m still sort of figuring out this new Nikon Z6, the best camera I’ve owned to date. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
