Always The Road Work

Since it never snows in the valley except for a very tiny bit of flurries, our road crews can work all year round which should mean they get things done more quickly? Not the case, this area has been under repairs for several weeks now. Why?

It’s the same thing with the new freeway overpasses over the ninety-five freeway north of me a few miles, ongoing for a few years now. Again, why? I’m no road engineer but have a brain that sees something odd. Perhaps it’s all about job security?

  1. What we really need are vehicles that float on a cushion of air so the roads don’t get damaged. HGVs (heavy goods vehicles) over here do most damage to our roads. In places, their tyres wear groves into the roads.
