At least one of these photos has a bit of smoke in it from the Mahogany fire near Mount Charleston. I do hope the fire is contained very soon, we need some rain!

There is a fire in the Imperial County near the Salton Sea that has destroyed 20 (now 40) homes. The fire is being fueled by the same winds that are blowing through Nevada.
And the world continues down the slippery slide.
