It’s always very enjoyable to walk among the Joshua trees, Yuccas, and desert wildflowers. Stop, listen. What do you hear? The gentle breeze blowing through the trees? A distant bird screeching? Maybe you’ll see a few Golden Mantled Ground Squirrels scurrying about in search of a meal. And of course, watch out for any snakes or scorpions. Mojave Desert love! โค๏ธ

These photos are amazing. I understand well why you love this desert.
Thanks very much! I am not a native of this state, but love it! The snow stays high in the mountains in winter where it belongs. ๐
Right, about the snow.
Very nice photos, John. The one with the old barbed wire fence is really unique.
Thanks, I thought so too. That entire fence has got to be decades old as it is broken for a long distance.
My kinda country. So many stories, so few words!
Thanks, Tom. Stop on by! ๐
