A quick walk to the backyard in 110-degree heat produced these four photos of the two Lantanas I planted a week or so back. They have been fertilized when planted, and have received water twice each day too. Lantana loves hot weather and is somewhat drought tolerant, I water them solely because of the excess heat lately. The Sagos aren’t doing as well.

so beautiful dear John, seems that loves the weather of Las Vegas… Thank you, Love, nia
Beautiful flowers. I saw today where it was 128 in Death Valley at Furnace Creek on Sunday. WTH??? Cars overheating and breaking down. And you talk about my hurricanes. 🤣
Sorry Lisa. But a broken down car isn’t a major event unless it’s your car of course. Always visit that place in winter is the best advice, it’s bad enough here in the city. I’m sure many cars and trucks got cooked. It’s cooled down to 105 today! 😂🌵🔥🌞
Alright! 105 is doable! We went to Death Valley in the spring and it was great! At the lowest point it was 102 while we hiked out on the Badwater Basin. Wouldn’t go any later than early April.

Those are very pretty plantings.
Thanks!!! 🌴
Lovely pops of yellow! 🙂
Thanks so much!! If the Sago’s die, I may replace them with Med Fan palms or Lantana!
You’re welcome! That would be a good choice 🙂
Lantana is a favorite! 🌟😊🌟
This plant seems to grow everywhere, and very easily. There are many varieties of color too. 😎
Beautiful John..really hot here too.
Yay for AC, right!! Stay frosty, Lavinia!
